English is really simple. I learned Japan - THAT was hard ! Definitly harder than english or germany.
By the way Nomyzs7. How long do you learn knife throwing ? Are you good at that ? I have some questions about it, and I don't see any troubles to write them in english

I very like talk in English and I think it's very simple, but I hate grammar. I don't understand why they have 16 tenses? We have 3 and it's good.

Biały Wilk: Japanese? In Japanese I only know: the count and words such as: forward, backward, right, left, etc. But I need know it, because I training karate. And I think it's really difficult language.

If I can add something into the conversation - I agree with Nefra. You're right, polish grammar is so hard that learning other grammar rules of other languages is very easy for us, but there are also polish people, who are more into the chemistry and other "scientific" subjects and they hate learning foreign languages.
I heard, that the hardest language of the world is japanese, but I can't agree with that. Chinese is soooo weird! One word said in the other intonation means something completely different!

I've never learned Japanese, but when my friend describes the language and so, I just say "Okay, I'll never get it"

Once she said the whole sentence and it sounded like I would say in Polish "jestem jestem jestem jestem", but the words ment something completely different...

I think, that Chinese is the most difficult language in the all world... I've saw a program on Discovery ... Each yy.."znak" has a few meanings .. but Polish language is better I think... I prefer Polish, yeah

Polish is not only difficult language but beautiful, too. That's my opinion. Which language do you learn beside Polish and English ? I'm learning Spanish. I like this language but I think that spanish people talk too fast. xd

I learn German else, but I want to learn Latin and Italian. It's true that spanish people talk very fast. I don't say anything in such a short time that they can to do.

My uncle is a Spaniard. So as I hear he says to his wife or daughters, I am impressed with how quickly he says. Very Happy

My brother once invited his friend whose mum was from Russia over. We started talking about languages during supper. And then, my dad asked my brother's friend something in russian, and he replied, and there was a whole, long conversation... From which I didn't get a word. And I had no idea my parents could speak Russian, even though it was actually kind of obvious... But it's amusing, hearing that language from my dad or mum xD

Hah, Russian. I've already sung a song "Pust wsiegda" (or something like that - I'm not sure of the spelling). xD (We - I and all school vocal group - had to sing it on ours school 50's birthday).

Yeah, I remember when I had talked with boyfriend of my cousin. He's German. I'm learning German for long years, but I didn't understand him well. Actually, I didn't understand him at all. xD I know, my German is really low. But English - I think it's not as bad as the first one. Wink

Yep, same here - maybe I'm learning German for those pathetic 7 years, but I don't understand most of what real Germans say. That's the disadvantage of the polish curriculum - we learn only the theoritical side of the language, and completely ignore the practical side. Because, in our schools' opinion, grammar is superior to actual communication -.-
